Meet Weyser.

First wave in Malpaís, at 11. Nobody taught him. He figured it out himself, with a lot of effort, and never quit.

He watched other classes, kept what worked and made it better. At 22 he started coaching, because he loves this sport and loves sharing it.

I have never surfed. Is that okay?

Totally. That is exactly where door one starts.

Where do we surf?

Close by. Playa Carmen, Mar Azul and Hermosa are all a short ride from town, and you choose the one that fits your level together. Cedros or Cabuya only if you are up for a trip.

How long is a session?

Roughly an hour and a half or more.

What if the waves are too big?

He tells you straight and finds a spot that works for you.

How many sessions until I get better?

You feel it after one. Three is where it clicks.

What do I bring?

Comfortable swimwear, sunscreen, some water, and yourself. He has the rest.

How do I pay?
